In-Process Quality Control Officer (Morning Shift)

We are looking for a detail-oriented IPQC Officer to join our team at our manufacturing site in Belrose.
n
This role is responsible for performing in-process quality checks across both our production and packaging operations, ensuring products are manufactured and packaged in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, GMP requirements and quality standards.
n
You will work closely with Production, Packaging and QA teams to identify issues early, ensure documentation is accurate and complete, and support the consistent release of high-quality products
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct routine in-process quality checks across production and packaging areas.
n
Monitor production processes to ensure they comply with approved specifications, procedures and GMP requirements.
n
Perform checks including product appearance, weights, dimensions, packaging, labelling, coding and other defined quality attributes.
n
Verify batch manufacturing and packaging documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with procedures.
n
Identify, document and elevate quality deviations, defects and non-conformances.
n
Conduct line clearance and start-up checks where required.
n
Inspect packaging lines and verify correct materials, labels, packaging components and product information are being used.
n
Work with Production and Packaging teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
n
Ensure samples are collected correctly and submitted for further testing where required.
n
Maintain accurate and timely IPQC records and documentation.
n
Support investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
n
Assist QA with audits,



inspections and other quality-related activities as required.
n
Promote a strong quality and GMP culture across the manufacturing site.
n

About You
n
You will be someone who is highly observant, organised and comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor. You understand that small details can have a significant impact on product quality and customer safety.
n
n
Previous experience in IPQC, QA, QC or a similar quality role within a manufacturing environment.
n
Experience in vitamins and supplements, nutraceutical, food, cosmetics or FMCG manufacturing will be highly regarded.
n
Good understanding of GMP, quality systems and manufacturing processes.
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Ability to identify problems and confidently raise issues when required.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Packaging and QA teams.
n
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and manage competing priorities.
n
A proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement.
