About the Role
n
As theSocial Inclusion & WellbeingLead, you will play a hands-on role in creating great experiences and meaningful outcomes for our existing participants, while also growing participation and connecting more older people with our Social Groups.
n
You'llspend time with participants understanding what matters to them and helping create engaging groups, activities and community outings that promote friendship, wellbeing, independence and belonging.
n
You'llalso be out in the community promoting our Social Groups, building
referralnetworksand
developing relationships that create opportunities for more older people toparticipate.
n
This community-based role brings
togetherparticipant
engagement, program delivery,
communityengagementand
marketing, with a shared focus on delivering great participant outcomes and growing participation.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Build strong relationships with participants, families and carers, understanding what matters to eachpersonand supporting meaningful participation.
n
Coordinate and deliver engaging Social Groups, activities and community outings that promote wellbeing, independence, friendship and belonging.
n




Adapt and develop programs in response to participants' needs, goals,interestsand feedback.
n
Create welcoming and inclusive experiences where people from diverse backgrounds feel
connected,respectedand
that they belong.
n
Actively promote Social Groups
andidentifyopportunities
to connect new participants with our programs.
n
Build strong referral networks with community organisations, aged care providers,
healthprofessionalsand
local partners.
n
Get outinto the community,
developrelationshipsand
create opportunities to grow participation and achieve agreed targets.
n
Gather participant feedback and use insights to continually improve experiences, outcomes and our Social Groups.
n
Bringnew ideasand creativity to the development and growth of our programs.
n
Coordinate and support
facilitators,driversand
volunteers.
n
Assistwith rostering and day-to-day program operations.
n
Contribute to a positive, values-driven culture of
teamwork,creativityand
inclusion.
n

To be successful,you'llbring:

Experience coordinating activities, programs or events in aged care,
communityservicesor
a similar environment.
n
Strong participant engagement and relationship-building skills.
n
Experience in community engagement, marketing,
businessdevelopmentor
building referral networks.
n
Confidence promoting programs, developing
communityconnectionsandidentifyingopportunities
to grow participation.
n
A passion for creating engaging experiences that promote
wellbeing,inclusionand
independence.
n
Strong
communicationskills
and the ability to build relationships with participants,
families,volunteersand
community partners.
n
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
n
Current Driver Licence (essential).
n
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
n
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
n
National Criminal History Check.
n
