Job Description
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervision of Quality Assurance Coordinator /Human Rights Coordinator

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities
n
n
Provide oversight, training and supervision to the quality assurance coordinate/human rights coordinator regarding quality management, licensing and accreditation standards to ensure adherence to DDS, federal and state quality regulations.
n
Conduct in office reviews of programs to ensure quality services and licensing standards are met.
n
Oversee the HCSIS system and ensure all reports are well written, accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
n
Notify Human Resources in case employee action is needed.
n
Conduct internal investigations, ensure protocols are followed and identify any problem areas. Report problem areas to the Director of Program Services and ensure a plan is developed and implemented, as necessary.
n
Oversee the Human Rights Coordinator to ensure all regulatory standards are met.
n
Review and identify any quality control systems issues problems with
process/procedures.
Report concerns to the director of program services and work in conjunction to rectify issues.
n
Track certification, mandatory, and annual trainings and ensure trainings are complete and timely for all staff to ensure regulatory compliance and in conjunction with the Training Specialist.
n
Upholds the values and culture of PBS while ensuring that PBS interventions are implemented with integrity.
n
Work in conjunction with the Senior Management Team on establishing and maintaining systems including referrals, future program development.
n

Qualifications
n
n
BS/BA and a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
n
Strong knowledge of DDS regulations, licensing and survey and certification.
n
Ability to develop, implement and maintain quality systems and processes
n
Prior group training experience regarding quality standards and regulations.
n
Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations and policies regarding human services and quality assurance systems and regulations.
n
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook and/or Google email
n
Strong problem-solving skills and independent judgement skills to analyze information, formulate recommendations and evaluate processes and procedures for quality compliance
n
n
Excellent Verbal, Written And Interpersonal Skills Required
n
n
Ability to maintain effective working relationship with employers, employees, state agencies and the general public
n
Comfortable engaging with all levels of management
n
Ability to work as a member of a team in a positive and productive manner
n
Successful check of CORI, DPPC Abuser Registry, Driving Record and Fingerprinting
n
Performs any other duties as assigned.
n
n
Position will require moderate sitting, standing, walking, and occasional driving to run errands. On a weekly basis, the approximate standards include the following and are dependent on required workload.
n

Sitting 65%
n
Standing/Walking: 25% or more
n
Lifting: 1% or more
n
Twist/Turn/Squat: 5% or more
n
Forearm Rotation: 4% or more
n
Transportation: Only as needed depending on responsibilities
