Experienced Veterinary Nurse – Permanent Part-time Position Available

For over 50 years, Penrith Veterinary Hospital has been caring for Penrith's pets and their owners.Our experienced veterinarians and dedicated nursing team are committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a friendly, comprehensive, and affordable environment. With a team of 9 experienced veterinarians supported by almost 20 veterinary nurses, no two days are the same in our busy and dynamic hospital.

We are currently seeking a passionate and outgoing veterinary nurse to join our team on a part time basis.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Animal care, handling, and hospital treatments.
n
Maintaining hospital hygiene and cleanliness of surgical areas and equipment.
n
Assisting with anaesthetics, surgery, and patient monitoring.
n
Pre- and post-operative patient care.
n
General nursing, blood collection and laboratory sample processing.
n
Reception duties, delivering excellent care to patients and owners.
n
n
About You:
n
n
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
n




Minimum 2 years of previous clinical experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
n
Available to work 2x days per week (Wednesday and Friday).
n
The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
n
Excellent customer service and communications skills.
n
An enthusiastic, friendly, caring, and hardworking attitude.
n
