About the Role:
Redpath Partners have been exclusively engaged by a leading engineering consultancy, who are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee all facets of their operations.
This leadership role requires a strategic, hands-on manager with a strong background in civil engineering and business management, coupled with a proven track record in driving company growth, enhancing revenue, and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring effective workflows and implementing process improvements.
Drive business development initiatives and oversee the generation of new work.
Assist in developing and implementing business strategies aligned with company goals.
Oversee marketing efforts to enhance the firm's market presence.
Ensure technical excellence in civil engineering project delivery.
Manage risk, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
Mentor and develop senior management and staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of experience in civil engineering or construction, with at least 10 years in a senior management role.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA or relevant business degree.
Strong technical background in civil engineering and project delivery.
Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving results.
Experience in business development, budgeting, and commercial negotiations.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
