The Opportunity
n
Fuse Recruitment are exclusively partnered with a leading Australasian Manufacturing brand and are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their well-established manufacturing facility based in Ingleburn.
n
This is a permanent, full-time, onsite position working alongside the Operations, Production and Maintenance teams to ensure plant and production equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
n
This is a hands‐on leadership role, with approximately 20% supervision and 80% hands‐on maintenance. You will lead by example, provide technical guidance to the maintenance team and play a key role in minimising downtime and maximising equipment reliability.

About the Site
n
The facility is a large-scale manufacturing operation producing insulation and building products for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
n
The site operates sophisticated production lines and automated processing equipment, with a strong focus on safety, reliability,
preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
n
This site operates 24 / 7 and this role will see you supervising the weekday maintenance team.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, Operators and the Maintenance team to ensure all plant and production machinery is operating safely and efficiently.
n
You will supervise and support a team of four fitters and electricians, while remaining actively involved in hands‐on maintenance activities across the site.
n
You day will start with a shift hand over from the Night shift supervisor and your day will end with a shift handover to the afternoon shift supervisor.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise, mentor and support a team of maintenance tradespeople and machine operators
n
Oversee maintenance activities across two key production lines
n
Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across plant and equipment
n
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical faults
n
Maintain and repair automated processing equipment, conveyors and production machinery
n
Carry out servicing and maintenance of shredders and optical sorting equipment
n
Coordinate and participate in repairs across site plant and equipment
n
Manage critical spare parts and maintenance inventory
n
Lead small maintenance projects and equipment installations
n
Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Production to improve equipment reliability
n
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve plant performance
n
Promote and maintain a strong safety‐first culture
n
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
n

About You
n
You will be an experienced maintenance professional with strong technical skills and previous experience leading or supervising maintenance activities in an industrial manufacturing environment.
n
You will be comfortable working hands‐on, troubleshooting equipment and supporting your team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, reliability and production performance.
n
To Be Successful, You Will Have
n
n
Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or Industrial Electrician
n
Previous experience supervising or leading a maintenance team
n
Strong mechanical and electrical fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
n
Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
n
Knowledge of automated production equipment
n
PLC fault‐finding experience, particularly Allen Bradley / Siemens, highly advantageous
n
Experience with conveyors, shredders, optical sorting equipment or similar automated machinery is highly advantageous
n
Electrical
Disconnect/Reconnect
competency highly advantageous
n
Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and equipment reliability
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
Strong commitment to WHS
n
Ability to work collaboratively with Operations and Production
n
Flexibility to support operational requirements when required
n
Forklift licence advantageous
