We're seeking an experiencedService Desk Officerto join a Federal Government department and provide high-quality ICT support to users.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoyshands-on ICT support, troubleshooting, customer service and ICT project deliverywithin a government environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide frontline ICT supportacross hardware, software, network, account and device issues
Triage, resolve and escape incidentsand service requests within agreed SLAs
Administer user accounts, devices, software and ICT asset records
Support ICT projects, upgrades, testing, rollouts and implementation activities
Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors and service providers
Provide hands-on support and maintenance of user and building ICT hardware
Identify recurring issues and contribute to ICT service and process improvements




To be successful, you will have:
Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance – essential
Solid troubleshooting experience acrossMicrosoft on-premises and cloud environments
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience supporting ICT projects and operational activities
Understanding of ICT security, governance and compliance requirements
Active Directory – on-premises and Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
Understanding ofITIL principles
