We're looking for reliable and safety-focused Distribution Centre Operators to join our Western Australia team.
Working alongside our Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC Management, you'll help maintain a safe, productive and well-organised Distribution Centre.What you'll be doingWorking across different areas of the Distribution Centre, including inbound and outbound operationsLoading and unloading trucks and containers, both manually and using material-handling equipmentPicking and selecting productsaccuratelyOperatingforklifts and other warehouse equipment where licensedUsing RF scanners and other electronicequipmentCompletingequipment pre-start safety checksConducting stock checks and supporting inventoryaccuracyIdentifyingand reporting damagedproductsMaintainingquality-control standards andproceduresCompletinghousekeeping and cleaning dutiesFollowing directions from Team Leaders, Supervisors and DCManagementSupportingthe team to improve safety,
productivity and operational performanceYou'll be expected to:Follow all workplace health and safety requirementsUse correct manual-handling techniquesComply with safe operating proceduresWear all required personal protectiveequipmentImmediatelyreport hazards, risks or unsafe conditionsHelp promote a positive and safety-focused workplaceWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a warehouse or distributionenvironmentKnowledgeof workplace health and safetypracticesExperienceusing RF scanning systemsBasic written, verbal and numerical skillsThe physical ability to safely perform manual-handling dutiesA reliable, flexible and team-focusedapproachWillingnessto work across different areas of the Distribution CentreThe following would be advantageous:A current forklift licenceWhy join Fantastic Furniture?
