Part Time Level 3 Gatehouse Security Officer

Secom Australia is currently seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our team as a permanent part time Level 3 Security Officer (plus applicable penalties) for a gatehouse security role in Eagle Farm, Brisbane(QLD). This position has a set weekly roster of Monday to Friday 2pm - 7.30pm.

Key Responsibilities
n
Controlling site access and preventing unauthorised entry.
n
Conducting vehicle and bag inspections.
n
Completing accurate, real-time data entry into live national Excel spreadsheets (driver and vehicle information).
n




Communicating frequently with client operations via two-way radio and phone systems.
n
Conducting site inductions for drivers and visitors as required.
n
Monitoring CCTV, access control, and electronic surveillance systems.
n
Operating access control systems (issuing cards, locking/unlocking doors, auditing access).
n
Recording incidents, breaches, and safety concerns.
n
You Will Be Able to Demonstrate

Presentation – Uphold a clean, neat, and well-groomed corporate appearance at all times.

Performance – Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively identify and respond to security incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Eligibility, Qualifications, Licences & Certifications
n
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unrestricted Rights to Work in Australia (Essential).
n
Current QLD Security Licence with a Class 1A as a minimum (Essential).
n
Full Drivers Licence (Essential).
n
Elevated customer service skills.
n
Previous security experience in gatehouses or warehousing / logistics operations.
n
Two references required.
n
