One of Australia'sleading Federal Government departmentsis looking to engage experiencedtwo Cyber Security Engineers to lead the development of complex cyber security technologies and processes with a lens on continual improvement, under direction from the Cyber Security branch.The successful Cyber Security Engineers will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Cyber Security Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:
n
Interpret business strategic direction and functional requirements and develop corresponding technologies to enhance the agency's defensive posture.
n
Working collaboratively with internal project teams and stakeholders to develop and deliver key cyber technologies.
n
Provide and maintain high quality documentation, including the development of architectural designs,
SOP and Service Design packs.
n
Translating technologies into simple processes and mentoring junior staff wherever required.
n
The successful Cyber Security Engineers will have experience in the following:
n
Demonstrated experience in a minimum of three of the following, SIEM, SOAR, TIP, Vulnerability Management, Threat Modelling, PKI, CSPM, CNAPP.
n
Demonstrated experience of working with Cloud environments and technologies - Azure, AWS, SaaS environments.
n
Familiarity with Government and Industry Cyber frameworks, standards, controls and guidelines.
n
Understanding of secure DevSecOps practices.
n
