About the Role
n
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an
Intermediate/Senior
Accountant to join their Business Services division. You'll work closely with Partners and Managers on a varied client base spanning multiple industries, gaining exposure to complex compliance and advisory work in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
n
Preparation and review of BAS/IAS
n
Assisting with tax planning and advisory work, including Div 7A and CGT matters
n




Liaising directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships
n
Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members (Senior level)
n
Involvement in FBT and SMSF compliance as required
n
Working with cloud-based accounting software and XPM
n
About You
n
CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards completion
n
2-5+ years' experience in an Australian public practice environment
n
Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
n
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build client rapport
n
Experience mentoring junior staff highly regarded (for Senior-level candidates)
n
