About the role
n
As a Sales Assistant you are the first person our customers meet and the face of our store. You are not there to push products — you are there to be a Trusted Advisor who understands what each customer needs and matches them to the right solution. We will train you in CARE, our four-step approach to every customer conversation.

In this role you will:
n
CONNECT — welcome every customer within 30 seconds and make them feel genuinely valued
n
ASSESS — ask great questions to understand the customer's device, plan, household and how they really use their service
n
RECOMMEND — confidently recommend the right plan, handset, accessories and protection, and be upfront about price and term
n
ENGAGE — complete the sale properly so the customer walks out working, with accurate notes and paperwork every time
n
Sell mobile phone services, handsets, accessories, protection and prepaid recharge
n
Explain product features, plans, pricing and contract terms clearly and honestly
n




Complete point-of-sale transactions and the associated administration accurately
n
Record accurate activity notes for every customer interaction
n
Follow all Mo's Mobiles, TPG/Vodafone and industry compliance requirements, including identity verification and the Telecommunications Consumer Protections (TCP) Code
n
Keep the store presentation-ready, replenish stock and support stocktake
n
Open and close the store, secure cash and reconcile EFT
n
Work safely and follow WH&S; procedures at all times

About you
n
We hire for attitude and train for skill. You will be a excellent fit if you have:

A genuine interest in people — you would rather solve a problem than close a deal

Curiosity about technology and telecommunications
n
Confidence using computers and point-of-sale systems
n
Availability across a retail roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
Previous retail or customer service experience (highly desirable, not essential)

Hourly rate of $***** – $***** (Adult rate 21+yrs) depending on employment type and experience
