About the Opportunity

We are recruiting an Environmental Advisor / Specialist to join an established mining operation in Central Queensland.
n
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this opportunity would suit an early-career environmental professional looking to develop their practical site experience within a supportive technical team.
n
The position offers a 9-day fortnight and is suited to someone who lives residentially in the local regional town or within the surrounding area. Housing can be provided in the nearby town.

About the Role
n
n
Coordinate environmental monitoring, including water, air quality, waste and land disturbance.
n
Support compliance reporting, audits, inspections and regulatory requirements.
n
Assist with rehabilitation, environmental incidents and corrective actions.
n




Maintain environmental records and promote valuable environmental practices across the site.
n
n
About You
n
n
Qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Previous environmental experience within mining or heavy industry.
n
Experience in environmental monitoring, compliance and rehabilitation.
n
Able to live in the local regional town or within commuting distance of the operation.
