Job Description
Our client, Maclean District Hospital, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a contract basis. This is a minimum 6-week engagement starting 17 August ****, offering the chance to work in a dynamic acute care environment where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a real difference to patient outcomes.

Work in a busy emergency department delivering high-acuity care across triage, resuscitation, and acute presentations
n
Minimum 6-week contract with flexibility and the opportunity to extend based on performance and departmental need
n
Join a supportive clinical team in Maclean, NSW, with access to ongoing professional development

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Current competence in Australian Triage Scale assessment and application
n
Advanced Life Support (ALS)



certification that is current and valid
n
Demonstrated in-charge or shift leadership experience in an emergency or acute care setting
n
Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting
n
Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation practices
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Emergency Nursing
n
Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are highly valued
n
