Job Description
Wanted: A Psychologist Who Believes Therapy Deserves Time.
n
Let's be honest.
n
Too many psychology roles promise "work-life balance" before handing you a diary that looks like someone lost a game of Tetris.
n
Sessions stacked back-to-back.
n Reports written after hours.
n Professional development squeezed into your lunch break.
n
Then everyone wonders why clinicians burn out.
n
This role is different.
n
This Organisation has built a multidisciplinary practice around one simple idea...
n
When clinicians are properly supported, participants receive better outcomes.
n
Funny how that works.
n
They're looking for an experienced Registered Psychologist who wants to spend less time fighting systems and more time helping people make meaningful progress.
n
Because psychology should never become a race against the clock.
n
The Role You'll work with children, adolescents and adults across a broad range of presentations while collaborating with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals who genuinely enjoy working together.
n
Your role will include:
n
n
Psychological assessment and evidence-based intervention
n
Developing individualised treatment plans
n
Supporting participants to achieve meaningful goals
n
Working collaboratively with families, carers and referrers
n
Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation
n
Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions
n
Delivering services through face-to-face and telehealth appointments where appropriate

Why You'll Actually Want This OneA team that talks to each other. No silos.
n No competing disciplines.
n Just clinicians working together because that's what delivers the best outcomes.
n
n
Flexibility that actually means flexibility.
n
Build a schedule that works for both your clients and your life.
n
Admin support that gives you your evenings back. Less chasing paperwork.
n
More doing what you trained for.
n
Professional development that's encouraged.
n
Supervision.
n
Mentoring.
n
Learning.
n
Career growth.
n
Ethics over KPIs. You'll still work efficiently.
n
But you'll never be asked to compromise quality simply to hit a number on a spreadsheet.
n
n
Who We're Looking For Someone who:
n
n
Holds current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
n
Enjoys working collaboratively with other clinicians
n
Values evidence-based, person-centred practice
n
Communicates with empathy and professionalism
n
Wants to continually grow both clinically and personally
n
Understands that excellent therapy is built on relationships, not rushed appointments
n
n
What This Isn't Let's save everyone some time.
n This isn't:
n
n
A churn-and-burn clinic where appointment numbers matter more than outcomes.
n
A workplace where career development is a buzzword.
n
A role where you'll be left to figure everything out alone.
n
A business that measures your value solely by your billables.
n
n
Why Make the Move? Because your career should grow alongside your clinical skills.
n
Because the best clinicians deserve workplaces that invest in them.
n
Because participants deserve psychologists who have the time, support and energy to do their best work.
n
And because finding an organisation that genuinely values both its clients and its clinicians is rarer than it should be.
n
If you're looking for a role where ethics, collaboration and quality care aren't just words on a website, we'd love to have a confidential conversation.
