Our head office is in Maitland, NSW, with flexible office-based, hybrid and remote working arrangements available depending on your circumstances and experience.

You'll work with public and private clients across land management, development, infrastructure, renewable energy, tourism and other complex projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
n
Your role will include:
n
n
Managing and delivering bushfire projects to a high technical standard.
n
Preparing Bushfire Protection Assessments, Bushfire Emergency Management and Evacuation Plans, Bushfire Management Plans and Strategic Bushfire Studies.
n
Supporting subdivisions, structure plans, special fire purpose developments, tourism, infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
n
Working with clients, authorities and project stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
n
Building and strengthening client relationships.
n




Identifying new project and business opportunities.
n
Contributing to proposals, fee submissions and the growth of our bushfire service.
n
Building your professional network and industry reputation.
n
Sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced team members.
n
Contributing to a positive, accountable and high-performance team culture.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
n
n
Graduate Diploma in Bushfire Protection, or working towards completion.
n
In-depth knowledge of NSW bushfire planning policy, AS**** and relevant RFS/local government guidance.
n
Ability to assess bushfire risks,



vegetation and slopes and interpret relevant legislation and planning requirements.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement, organisation and time-management skills.
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary consulting team.
n
Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
n
n
Highly regarded
n
n
Previous bushfire or environmental consulting experience.
n
BPAD accreditation or progress towards accreditation.
n
Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Building or a related discipline.
n
Existing client and industry relationships.
n
