About The Role
n
Set in the warm, down-to-earth community of Mareeba, life here is all about practicality, sunshine, and genuine connection. It's not a fast-paced city—expect hot days, a close-knit community, and a slower lifestyle outside of work. In return, you'll find space to breathe, affordable living, and a grounded workplace where people support each other and value the work you do.
n
In this role, you will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and care staff to support clinical outcomes, monitor resident wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming care environment where dignity guides everyday practice.
n
This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents and their families while being part of a supportive team that values professionalism, collaboration, and ongoing development. If you are adaptable, reliable, and committed to delivering thoughtful, resident-focused care,
we would love to hear from you.
n
No two days are the same! As Enrolled Nurse, you will:
n
Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families to identify care needs and support individualised care planning.
n
Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects care delivery and resident outcomes.
n
Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage, and record-keeping.
n
Monitor residents' health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person-centred care.
n
Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents
n
About You
n
You'll thrive with us if you have:
n
Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
n
Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents' health.
n
Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
n
Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
n
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
n
Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), required immunisations, and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.
n

As a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries. Take advantage of a further $2,650 to pay for meals out or holiday accommodation
