CACAO Australia is a leading artisan producer of premium chocolates and macarons, proudly crafting high-quality products for retail, wholesale, and seasonal gifting. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager to lead our macaron and chocolate production at our Cheltenham facility.

The Opportunity

The Production Manager is a key role within the macaron production team and will be ensuring smooth coordination between teams, overseeing day-to-day operations on the factory floor, and implementing effective planning and production systems.

Your leadership will help improve workflow, drive productivity, and create a consistent and communicative link across departments.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Oversee daily production of macarons and chocolate products, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
n
Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
n
Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet demand across multiple channels.
n
Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP and relevant regulatory requirements.
n
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams.

Drive continuous improvement in production processes, equipment use, and product innovation.
n

The Ideal Candidate
n
n
Experience working in a food manufacturing or high-volume production environment
n
Strong organisational and planning skills
n
Confidence working directly on the factory floor
n
The ability to manage and lead across multiple teams and departments
n
Clear, confident communication and leadership skills
n
A background in operations, production, or manufacturing (ideally within the food industry)
n
A proactive, hands-on approach to team management and process improvement
n
Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance.
n
Passion for artisan food production and product excellence.
