The Role
n
This hands-on position, reporting to the Course Superintendent, involves all aspects of golf course maintenance and presentation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality playing surfaces for members and guests year-round.

Duties & Responsibilities
n
n
Preparing the course for daily play, including greens, tees and fairways
n




Operating a variety of turf maintenance equipment and machinery
n
Monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems
n
Assisting with spraying, fertiliser applications and general turf care programs
n
Contributing to course improvement projects and renovations
n
Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
n
Flexibility to work weekend and public holidays as required
n

Skills & Experience
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent qualification or able to obtain
n
Previous experience working on a golf course or sports turf environment (preferred but not essential)
n
Good knowledge of turf maintenance practices and irrigation systems (preferred but not essential)
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
n
The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
n
Chemical accreditation (preferred but not essential)
