About the Role
n
As an Aviation Cleaner at Cairns Airport, you'll play a vital role in creating safe, clean, and memorable travel experiences for passengers and visitors. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness throughout the airport, ensuring the environment is always welcoming.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and toilets
n
Emptying rubbish and recycling bins
n
Operating cleaning equipment
n
Ensuring cleanliness throughout the airport for a positive customer experience
n
About You:
n
A team player who enjoys working with others
n
Strong customer engagement skills and a positive attitude
n
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic airport environment
n
Detail-oriented and committed to workplace health and safety
n
Open to learning and growing in the cleaning industry
n
Ability to successfully pass a Criminal History Check, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and Medical Assessments
n




Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal History Clearance)
n
Hold an unrestricted Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
n
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, Sundays and public holidays
n
Strong work ethic and punctuality
n
Skills & Experience:
n
High level of presentation and cleanliness
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Physically fit and able to walk for extended periods
n
Friendly, approachable, and happy disposition
n
Previous supervisory experience will be highly regarded
n
