Job Description
We are urgently seeking a Trade Assistant for work with a highly reputable business located in Carole Park. The role will be a casual to permanent assignment you will be responsible for general assistance to the fabrication team with experience assisting Boilermakers and Fabricators preferred. The position has full- time hours, day shift Monday to Thursday 7.00 am to 3.20 pm Friday 7.00 am – 1.00 pm, hourly rate starting at $40 per hour. Start asap.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
n
n
Current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
n
Current Forklift Licence and experience required, side loader experience desirable
n
Reasonable physical fitness and experience manual handling and use of power tools
n
Organised with excellent communication skills
n
Be dedicated to secure working practice and have a positive and team focused attitude.
n

What you will be doing as a Fabrication Trades Assistant:
n
n
Review workorders ensure materials are available and pre picked and delivered to bay
n
Strap and move fabricated work to pre-gal storage
n
Use of counterbalance and side loader forklifts to transfer products from factory to yard as required
n
Cutting, grinding and deburring of poles and doors
n
Labelling stamping and engraving of components
n
General labouring and assisting fabricators.
