Moranbah Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Acute and Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 21 September to 1 November ****. This is a Grade 5 position offering $***** to $***** per hour, with rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts across up to 80 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will bring strong emergency nursing skills and rural healthcare experience to a dynamic, rapid-paced clinical environment in regional Queensland.

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing with proven clinical competence in acute care settings
n
Solid background in rural nursing practice and familiarity with rural healthcare delivery
n
Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, particularly ieMR, FirstNet, PowerChart, and HBCIS
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licence
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-acuity environment
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Previous experience working within Queensland Health or Mackay Hospital and Health Service
n
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
