About the Role

We're seeking friendly and reliable Domestic Assistants to join our team across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, & Surrounds.
n
In this role, you'll assist clients in their homes with general household tasks, meal preparation and daily living support — helping to create a secure, clean, and comfortable environment.
n School-hours shifts are available, making this a great opportunity for those seeking flexibility around family or lifestyle commitments. We also accept applications from those who are re-entering the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
n

Provide domestic support, including cleaning, laundry and household organisation
n
Assist clients with meal preparation and grocery shopping
n
Support clients with community access (appointments, social outings) where required
n
Encourage independence and wellbeing through respectful, person-centred support
n
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold NDNS quality standards
n
Assist clients with Community Care duties
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
Preferably some experience in domestic assistance, cleaning or home support (aged care or disability experience highly regarded)
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
n




Driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
n
Experience working in the Aged Care &/or disability sectors
n
A positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with and supporting people
n
