The Opportunity

Are you a safety-focused and motivated Trade Assistant with crane operating experience and a passion for delivering high-quality work? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Trade Assistant (Crane Operators) to join our high-performing team at Peak Downs Mine.
n
As a key member of the Peak Downs Maintenance team, you'll be responsible for supporting safe and efficient maintenance activities while undertaking crane operations and associated lifting activities across site.
n
Roster: 7/7 Day & Night Rotating | Location: Peak Downs Mine, QLD | Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
n
As the Trade Assistant/ Crane Operator, you will:
n
n
Conduct crane operations safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures.
n
Support maintenance teams with lifting, rigging and trade assistant duties.
n
Contribute to a positive safety culture while delivering high-quality work outcomes.
n
n

You will hold, or be willing to obtain, the following:

Dogman Ticket
n
Overhead Crane Ticket
n
Current Standard 11
n
Current HR Driver Licence
n
Elevated Work Platform and/or Trainer & Assessor qualification highly regarded
