About the Role
n
As the Educational Leader and Preschool Room Leader, you will play a key role in leading our preschool program while supporting and mentoring the wider teaching team.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and inspire the preschool room team to deliver high-quality educational programs.
n
Drive curriculum development and continuous improvement across the service.
n
Implement and evaluate play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF.
n
Guide and mentor educators in planning, documentation, and reflective practice.
n
Monitor children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
n




Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
n
Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community.
n
Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the centre's ongoing success.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ECT qualification).
n
Current NESA Teacher Accreditation.
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in Early Childhood Education.
n
Previous leadership experience as an Educational Leader, Room Leader, or similar role.
n
Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and NQS.
n
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
n
Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Experience using OWNA or similar digital documentation platforms.
n
Experience supporting and mentoring early career educators.
n
Passion for continuous improvement and educational excellence.
n
