n The Role
n We're on the lookout for passionate and forward-thinking HSE Manager to lead the Health, Safety & Environment agenda at site level for their Plant in Western Sydney as well as a satellite site in Regional NSW. As a key member of the site leadership teamyou'll play a crucial role in strengthening the safety culture, driving environmental initiatives, and ensuring that every team member returns home safely each day.
n Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the design and execution of site-specific Health, Safety & Environment plans in alignment with the new national strategy.
n
n
n
Champion a pragmatic, hands-on approach to safety, embedding best practices into daily operations.
n
n
n
Stay ahead of legislative changes and ensure the site is not just compliant but setting industry benchmarks.
n
n
n
Lead meaningful incident investigations andrisk assessments that result in real improvements.
n
n
n
Deliver engaging, practical training and drive safety awareness at every level.
n
n
n
Monitor, analyse, and report on HSE performance, translating insights into impactful actions.
n
n
n
Act as a trusted advisor to site leaders, influencing and coaching to build visible HSE leadership.
n
n
n




Support workers' compensation and injury management with a focus on early intervention and a human-first approach.
n
About Youn
n
Proven experience in a similar HSE leadership role within a manufacturing environment (preferably within food, beverages or FMC)
n
n
n
Astrong operational understanding of safety and environmental practices, with a proactive, collaborative approach to building relationships across all levels.
n
n
n
Skilled communicator and natural influencer, able to engage, inspire, and take people on the journey.
n
n
n
In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, regulations, and standards.
n
n
n
A confident coach and mentor, passionate about uplifting capability across operational teams.
n
n
n
Experienced in leading change and introducing new initiatives in complex environments.
n
n
n
A visible and authentic leader who leads by example, brings energy to the role, and earns trust through action.
n
