Working as part of a national grounds maintenance company, you will be responsible for coordinating a small team and ensuring commercial gardens, lawns and landscaped areas are maintained to a high standard. You will be hands‐on in the field, operating equipment, managing daily tasks and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities
n
Lead and supervise a small grounds maintenance team
n
Coordinate daily tasks and ensure work is completed on schedule
n
Lawn mowing, edging and general turf maintenance
n
Hedging, pruning and whipper snipping
n
Weed control and spraying
n
General gardening, landscaping and grounds maintenance
n
Safely operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment
n
Maintain commercial gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard
n
Follow site safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture
n




Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients when required
n
About you
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance
n
Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred
n
Certificate III in Horticulture highly regarded
n
Current White Card
n
Current Manual Driver's Licence
n
Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
n
Strong knowledge of garden, turf and general grounds maintenance
n
Experience operating a range of gardening and landscaping equipment
n
Ability to work independently and lead a small team by example
n
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
n
Work with an established national company
n
Varied commercial sites across Sydney
n
Hands‐on leadership role
n
