Departing from Perth, you'll fly directly to Plutonic, arriving within 90 minutes of departure. Once onsite, you'll be accommodated in a well-established camp that boasts a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, pool, and modern ensuite rooms with Wi-Fi.

The Role
n
As Catalyst Metals continues to grow and expand its operations, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Process Supervisor to join our Processing team.
n
Reporting to the Process Superintendent and working an 8:6 / 7:7 roster, you will play a critical leadership role within the Processing Department, leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Process Technicians while ensuring the safe, reliable and productive operation of the processing plant.
n
Working closely with Metallurgy, Maintenance, Mining and Geology teams, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day process operations, supporting production targets, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of accountability, communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
n
Lead, mentor and support Process Technicians, ensuring explicit expectations, effective communication, strong performance and ongoing development.

Oversee the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the processing plant, ensuring production targets and operational objectives are achieved.
n
Work closely with Maintenance, Metallurgy and other site stakeholders to optimise plant performance and resolve operational issues.
n
Monitor plant performance, identify operational variances and implement corrective actions to maximise efficiency and reliability.
n
Support the training, development and performance management of processing personnel.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, plant performance and cost efficiency.
n
Complete operational reporting and ensure management is informed of issues impacting safety, productivity or plant performance.
n
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and compliance while fostering a positive team culture.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Experience in a Process Supervisor or similar leadership role within a mining operation.
n
Solid knowledge of gold processing operations and plant management.
n
Current WA C Class Driver's Licence.
n
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
n
Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and drive operational outcomes.
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy.
n
Frontline Management Training or equivalent.
n
Minimum 7 years' experience within the mining industry.
n




Extensive knowledge of gold processing and processing plant operations.
n
Working knowledge of Pronto, INX and Microsoft Office applications.
n
Understanding of mining legislation and regulatory requirements.
n
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement operational improvements.
n

Production ore is presently sourced from the Plutonic Main underground mine. Catalyst intends to bring three new mines into production during ****. The first of the new mines, Plutonic East, produced its first stoping ore in early ****.

K2 will be the second mine to be developed by Catalyst and will represent a third ore source for the Plutonic operations. It is located 40km north-east of the underutilised Plutonic processing plant, and preliminary site works have commenced to dewater and rehabilitate the existing underground decline.
