Job Description
Young District Hospital & Community Health Services is seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join its Community Mental Health team in Young, NSW. This is a 12-week contract role offering an immediate start, with remuneration of AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour. The successful candidate will deliver specialist mental health support to community clients, working within a collaborative healthcare workplace that values clinical expertise and person-centred care.

Deliver specialist mental health assessment, intervention, and support to community-based clients
n
AUD$***** to AUD$***** per hour, 12-week contract with immediate availability
n
Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team in a regional healthcare setting
n

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Minimum two years' experience in senior mental health clinical practice
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse,



Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS 2), or relevant Allied Health professional
n
Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and deliver mental health interventions in community settings
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
n
Sound clinical judgment and the capacity to manage complex presentations in a community context
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or equivalent professional registration
n
Post‐graduate qualification in Mental Health (required for CNS 2 candidates)
n
Additional mental health-specific certifications or training in evidence‐based therapeutic approaches
