About the Role
n
We're seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to join a outstanding team in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs on a 6–12 week contract. This is a hands‐on role covering content creation, community management, trend analysis and performance reporting across all major platforms.

Key Responsibilities
n

Write copy and design visual assets, including images, short‐form video and infographics
n
Build and manage editorial calendars, scheduling daily content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook
n
Align content with broader marketing campaigns and business goals
n
Respond to comments and direct messages to build audience engagement and loyalty
n
Monitor brand mentions and manage public feedback
n
Moderate user-generated content to keep channels safe and on‐brand
n
Track trends, hashtags and platform algorithm changes to keep content relevant
n




Research competitor activity and audience behaviour
n
Track performance metrics including reach, engagement and click‐through rates
n
Report on performance to guide future content and marketing decisions
n

About You
n
n
Demonstrated experience in a social media specialist or similar content role
n
Strong copywriting and visual content creation skills
n
Confident using scheduling and analytics tools across multiple platforms
n
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, curious approach to trends and audience behaviour
n
Own vehicle required, as the role is based in Melbourne's south‐east
n
