Role Overview
n
Deliver speech pathology services across inpatient, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings, supporting adults with communication and swallowing disorders. The role includes assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for career development and service improvement.
n
The Team Work across 2 hospital sites, North West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital to provide inpatient, rehabilitation and adult outpatient speech pathology services.
n
Assess and provide intervention to adult inpatients and outpatients with swallowing and communication difficulties. Grow and develop clinical skills through individual and group supervision and the provision of a Professional Development allowance. Contribute to quality assurance projects focused on service improvement.
n
You will need Demonstrated sound knowledge of current Speech Pathology practice.
Demonstrated ability to competently assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in adults and children. Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate effective therapy programmes with minimal supervision. Previous experience in a hospital setting or satisfactory undergraduate experience.

Or where regulatory requirements exist NDIS Q&S; Commission Provider Registration Requirements
