Myer Groupis looking for a Planning and Reporting Managerto provide credible financial planning and analysis for the group, including the development of budgets and forecasts; ensuring the end result is an accurate reflection, and is aligned with company strategic directions.

About the role:
n
n
Management of annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, including establishment of key data, assumptions, analysis and reporting of outcomes; delivering credible financial planning and analysis for the group, encompassing the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
n
Lead the key planning processes and actively influence the achievement of planned growth and profitability objectives
n
Manage delivery of budget and forecast presentation material for all stakeholder groups (including Executives and Board) delivering effective communication and coordination of meetings and timelines
n




Liaise with Commercial Finance teams to understand opportunities and risks to budget/forecast and contribute to corrective recommendations
n
Creating and reviewing KPIs, ensuring the right metrics are being used and adhered to; data accuracy and consistency
n
Scenario modelling, including the maintenance of 3 way predictive model
n
Support rollout of financial reporting, dashboards and systems with business leaders to enable better financial decision making
n
Provide guidance, support and training to the wider finance team and budget owners on utilising the group's planning and reporting tools
n
Review processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness, with the aim of continuous improvement
n
n
About you:
n
n
5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a large, complex organisation or industry environment
n
Extensive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting
n
Proven experience using NetSuite or a comparable ERP system
n
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
n
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team
n
Strategic,



big-picture thinker with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and effectively communicate the story behind the numbers
n
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, analysis, and reporting
n
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
