We are currently working exclusively a highly regarded Melbourne-based property developer and builder, to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their in-house construction team.
n
An award-winning organisation that takes a fully integrated approach to property development, with architecture, interior design, construction, project management, sales, marketing, operations and asset management all managed in-house.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to take ownership of a multi-residential apartment development in South-East Melbourne, working closely with an experienced construction and senior leadership team.

The Opportunity
n
You will play a key role in managing the project from pre-construction and tendering through to construction delivery and final handover.
n
The role will be hands-on and varied, providing exposure across estimating, procurement, contracts administration, cost management, subcontractor coordination and project delivery.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage the project through the full construction lifecycle
n
Assist with estimating, tender preparation and subcontractor procurement
n
Manage subcontractor engagement, performance and delivery
n
Oversee contracts administration and project documentation
n
Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
n




Manage construction programs and project milestones
n
Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and key project stakeholders
n
Provide hands‐on support to the site team and ensure project requirements are met
n
Maintain solid standards across quality, compliance, safety and documentation
n
Assist with project reporting and general project administration
n
Drive the successful delivery of the project through to completion and handover
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager with approximately 3–5 years' experience in a Project Management capacity.
n
Ideally, you will have a background delivering multi-residential or apartment developments, with experience on projects involving:
n
n
Basement construction
n
Approximately 5–7 storeys
n
Complex subcontractor packages
n
Full project lifecycle delivery
n
Tendering and procurement
n
Contracts administration
n
Cost and financial management
n
n
Requirements
n
n
3–5 years' experience as a Project Manager
n
Demonstrated experience delivering multi-
residential/apartment
projects
n
Relevant Diploma of Building & Construction, Construction Management or Project Management degree
n
Strong understanding of construction methodology, contracts and project delivery
n
Strong commercial and cost management capability
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
n
Experience with CostX, Microsoft Project, Sage Intacct, BuildPass or Bluebeam will be highly regarded.
