Assistant Director – Forrest Early Childhood and Care Service

About the role:
n
n
Lead and support the implementation of high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework, and relevant legislation.
n
Provide professional supervision, coaching, and mentoring to educators, fostering reflective practice, and ongoing professional growth to enhance outcomes for children.
n
Assist the Service Director in the day-to-day management of the service, including maintaining staff-to-child ratios, contributing to rostering, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and maintaining accurate records.
n
Lead service tours, support family onboarding, maintain effective communication with families, and promote a positive and inclusive culture with children, families, staff, and the wider community.
n

About you:
n
n
ACECQA-approved qualification (Diploma or higher) in Early Childhood, or equivalent
n
Robust knowledge of the NQF, and EYLF
n
Confident leader with proven team development and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Resilient, adaptable, and driven to deliver quality outcomes
n
n
What we offer:

Part‐time ongoing role – 60.8 hours per fortnight.



This role may be expected to work split shifts when required Remuneration aligned to Children Services Award Level 7, plus super, salary packaging and educational leader allowance.

Requirements:
n
Current driver's licence and ability to obtain/maintain required pre-employment checks and certifications (including National Police Check, Working with Vulnerable Cards and First Aid), plus mandatory training as required.
