An opportunity has become available for an influential midwifery leader to join Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) as Midwifery Unit Manager Level 3.
n
Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary leadership team, you will champion excellence in care for women, babies and families, while leading and developing a highly skilled and passionate midwifery workforce.
n
As Midwifery Unit Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across maternity services, driving innovation, workforce excellence, clinical quality and woman-centred care. You will play a pivotal role in shaping service delivery, advancing contemporary models of maternity care and ensuring women and their families receive safe, compassionate and evidence-based care throughout their journey.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
n
n
Registered Midwife-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) AND Relevant management tertiary qualification OR equivalent work experience, OR a combination of study and work experience; and demonstrated commitment to professional development.
n
Demonstrated ability to build, lead and inspire high-performing midwifery teams, fostering a positive workplace culture that supports excellence in care for women, babies and families.
n
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with women, families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, compassionate and woman-centred maternity care within a complex healthcare environment.
n
Demonstrated commitment to clinical governance, quality improvement and improving the experiences and outcomes of women, babies and families through evidence-based maternity care.
