Job Description
n
Work under the direction of a qualified supervisor and/or operations manager.
n
Assist with assessing and repairing damaged vehicle body components, including panels, guards, bonnets, boots and doors.
n
Learn and develop skills in removing, repairing, replacing and refitting body components.
n
Prepare damaged panels for repair, including straightening, dent removal, sanding and filling.
n
Safely use a range of hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
n
Assist with vehicle and component dismantling and reassembly as required.
n
Develop skills in vehicle body alignment, panel gaps and correct component fitment.
n
Demonstrate attention to detail when identifying damage, defects and alignment issues.
n
Complete tasks efficiently and follow instructions from qualified supervisors.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and secure work area.
n
Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.
n
Commit to formal training, trade school and ongoing skills development.
n
Complete tasks to a high standard following on-the-job training and supervision.
n
Use basic communication,



literacy and numeracy skills to understand instructions and complete required duties.
n
Demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
It is important that you are physically fit.
n
Must have a basic skill in verbal & written literacy.
n
Enjoy Practical and Manual work.
n
Be able to work with hand tools and machines.
n
Need to possess good hand-eye coordination.
