About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioner
to support the introduction into service and ongoing sustainment of complex products and equipment.
The successful candidate will work within established logistics policies, frameworks and systems to manage and deliver key ILS activities throughout the acquisition, introduction-to-service and sustainment lifecycle.
You will work as part of a small project team, undertaking moderately complex ILS activities with a high degree of initiative, judgement and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver Integrated Logistics Support activities across the product lifecycle.
Undertake
codification and cataloguing of Items of Supply (IOS)
within authorised Logistics Inventory Management Systems (LIMS).
Manage logistics data and perform inventory transactions associated with the introduction, issue and sustainment of products and parts.
Identify and document
supplier, repair and support pipelines
and assist commercial teams with establishing appropriate through-life support arrangements.
Develop, review and maintain technical and logistics documentation supporting introduction into service and sustainment, including:
Equipment schedules
Repair parts schedules
Logistics support documentation
Entitlement and provisioning documentation
Undertake transactions and functions within authorised logistics systems to support product introduction, inventory management and equipment issue.
Develop and maintain entitlement and provisioning documentation in accordance with approved requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams,
logistics stakeholders, commercial teams, technical specialists, end users and industry partners.
Act as a key point of contact for ILS management activities and deliverables.
Participate in stakeholder and project meetings and actively manage ILS actions, risks and dependencies.
Prepare, contribute to and review
ILS reports, documentation and supporting artefacts
.
Participate in
acceptance testing and verification activities
relating to ILS requirements and deliverables.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience as an
Integrated Logistics Support Practitioner, ILS Manager, Logistics Specialist or similar
.
Strong understanding of established
ILS principles, methodologies and lifecycle support practices
.
Practical experience with
logistics inventory management systems (LIMS)
.
Experience with
NATO codification, cataloguing and Items of Supply (IOS)
.
Experience supporting equipment or product
introduction into service and sustainment
.
Experience developing and maintaining technical, logistics, provisioning and support documentation.
Understanding of
supply chains, repair pipelines and through-life support arrangements
.
Solid stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project and commercial teams.
Strong written communication, documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and manage multiple ILS deliverables.
Desirable Experience
Experience working within
large, complex, regulated or government environments
, particularly where formal logistics, asset management, supply chain and lifecycle support frameworks are used, will be highly regarded.
