Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of the country's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel, and road base from a number of locations across Australia.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our Bacchus Marsh Quarry in VIC.
n
This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.
n
In Your New Role With Us, You Will
n
n
Carry out day-to-day operation and light maintenance of plant and equipment
n
Operate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders, dump trucks, and water trucks
n
Grader experience is advantageous but not essential
n
Experience with wash plant and slimes processing is advantageous but not essential
n
Perform general labouring activities, including cleaning, hosing, and shovelling
n
n

Experience in quarrying, mining, or a similar industry

What We Offer

Hourly base rate from $*****, dependent on experience, plus penalty rates and superannuation
n
Monday to Friday, average hours 6:00am to 4:00pm
n
Half-day Saturday shifts according to business requirements (approximately two per month, depending on workload)
