Job Description
Our client, Tambo Primary Health Care Centre in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead their primary health care operations. This is a three-month contract role (24 August to 24 November ****) classified at NG9, offering AUD $***** per hour. The successful candidate will step into a leadership position where clinical vision, team management, and strategic oversight directly shape the quality of care delivered across the centre's primary health services.

Lead nursing strategy and clinical governance across a primary health care setting

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Extensive experience in nursing leadership, with a track record managing teams in primary or community health settings
n




Solid understanding of primary health care models, service delivery, and population health principles
n
Demonstrated ability to develop nursing staff, implement clinical protocols, and ensure compliance with health standards
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
n
Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets within a health service context
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Post-graduate qualification in Nursing Leadership, Health Management, or related discipline
n
Current knowledge of Australian primary health care frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements
