Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is seeking motivated individuals to commence a Certificate III in Plumbing Apprenticeship with one of our respected host employers based in Bendigo.
n
This is an excellent prospect to earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification and develop the skills needed for a successful career in the plumbing industry. Supported by experienced tradespeople and your dedicated Employment & Training Consultant, you'll receive the guidance and training needed to become a qualified plumber.

Duties May Include
n
n
Installing and repairing roof plumbing systems
n
Working with roofing iron and sheet metal products
n
Handling and installing roofing sheets
n
Installing roof battens and roofing components
n
Measuring, cutting and shaping materials to specification
n
Using tools such as tech screw guns, tin snips and other trade equipment
n




Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
n
Creating the layout of plumbing systems and required materials
n
Assembling and installing piping, fittings and plumbing components
n
Testing plumbing installations and ensuring compliance with industry standards
n
Working safely at heights and on roofing projects
n
Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
n

About You
n
n
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights
n
Completed Year 10 or equivalent
n
Interested in building a career in the plumbing and construction industry
n
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
n
Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
n
Able to work as part of a team
n
Driver's Licence desirable but not essential
n
White Card advantageous but not essential
n
