Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter/Machinist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Carry out fitting, machining, maintenance and repair work
n
Machine and manufacture components to required specifications
n
Interpret engineering drawings, measurements and specifications
n
Set up and operate workshop machinery and equipment
n
Fit, assemble and modify components and machinery
n
Diagnose faults and assist with repairs and maintenance
n
Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality
n
Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time
n
Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes genuine pride in producing quality work.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Trade qualification in Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade / Fitting and Machining
n
Proven experience in fitting and machining
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
n
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
n
Experience using workshop machinery and equipment
n
A positive attitude and reliable work ethic
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Current Driver's Licence
