Pertemps are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Night Driver for a well-known and established company in Normanton, offering a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
n
This is a Monday to Friday night role, delivering primarily caged automotive stock and parts to dealership and trade sites across Yorkshire and Humberside.
n

Job Details
n HGV Class 2 (Category C) night driving role
n
Monday to Friday 48-hour contracted week
n
Usual start time: 23:00
n
Finish times typically between 06:00 and 08:00, depending on the route
n
Drivers will generally finish Saturday morning following the Friday night shift
n
No Bank Holiday working
n
Primarily cage deliveries, with some pallets and loose items
n
Drivers will have an assigned vehicle
n
Drivers will rotate week on/week off across three routes
n
The three routes consist of long, medium and short runs,



ensuring drivers receive a fair balance of working hours
n
Routes cover areas across Bradford, Leeds, Grimsby, Hull, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Barnsley and Rotherham
n

Requirements
n Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license – 6 Months experience minimum
n
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
n
Reliable, professional and efficient approach
n
Comfortable with manual handling and cage deliveries
n
Valuable knowledge of road networks across Yorkshire and Humberside
n
Able to work independently and complete routes efficiently
n
Immediate Starts Available
n Driving assessment required
n
