Full time Optical Assistant- Specsavers Macquarie Park

Providing outstanding customer service to all visitors, assisting with product selection and purchases across our optical and retail ranges
n
Supporting the optical dispensing process, including frame fitting, lens selection guidance, and ensuring accurate order fulfilment
n
Ensuring consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards
n
Managing stock levels, conducting regular inventory checks, and maintaining a well-organised and visually appealing retail display
n
Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash and card payments responsibly
n
Fostering a positive working environment
n
Promoting Specsavers products and services, including eye care packages and promotional offers, to maximise sales opportunities
n
Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
n




Supporting the store manager in achieving sales targets and operational objectives
n
What we're looking for
n
Previous retail experience, ideally in an optical or customer-facing retail environment
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
n
Sound product knowledge of eyewear, frames, lenses, and optical services, or the willingness to develop this knowledge
n
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail management software
n
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required
n
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
n
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to achieving sales targets
n
Problem-solving abilities and a skilled, can-do attitude
