Following the launch of our Burwood store in ****, we're excited to open our next location near Hyde Park in October ****. We're known for our signature cream-filled donuts, specialty coffee, handcrafted pastries, and warm, friendly hospitality.

We're looking for skilled and enthusiastic Baristas to join our Hyde Park opening team.
n
You'll be responsible for preparing consistently high-quality coffee and beverages while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. We're looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced café, take pride in their coffee, and work well as part of a team.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, specialty drinks, and other beverages to Knotted standards.
n
Maintain consistency in coffee quality, taste, presentation, and preparation.
n
Dial in espresso and adjust grinders throughout service as required.
n
Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive customer service.
n
Take customer orders and operate the POS system accurately.
n
Maintain a clean and organised coffee station and front-of-house area.
n
Monitor coffee, milk, and beverage stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
n
Follow food safety, hygiene,



and workplace safety procedures.
n
Work closely with the wider store team to ensure smooth and effective service.
n
Support opening, closing, and general cleaning duties as required.
n

About You
n
n
Confident with espresso preparation, milk steaming, and basic latte art.
n
Understanding of espresso extraction, grinder adjustment, and coffee quality.
n
Strong customer service and communication skills.
n
Able to work efficiently and maintain quality during busy periods.
n
Friendly, reliable, and positive with a strong team mentality.
n
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean workspace.
n
Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating a great guest experience.
n
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
n
