Our client, a growing name in the fabricated signage, print and POS market, is seeking an experienced, hands‐on Production Manager to lead its operation.
n
This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced production environment and brings genuine energy, ownership and follow‐through to their work. The successful candidate will be a visible, practical leader who can keep jobs moving, solve problems early and ensure commitments to clients and the team are consistently delivered.

Working closely with the business owners, operations and sales team, the Production Manager will oversee production from job handover through to delivery and installation—balancing quality, deadlines, materials, people and profitability.

The opportunity
n
The Production Manager will lead daily production operations across signage, POS and print, ensuring work is planned efficiently, produced to a high standard and delivered on time.
n
This role suits someone with a strong production background who enjoys leading from the front, creating structure in a busy workplace and building a motivated, accountable team culture.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
Managing day‐to‐day production across signage, POS, large‐format print and related finishing requirements
n
Planning production schedules, allocating labour and prioritising jobs to meet client deadlines
n
Leading, motivating and developing the production team
n
Ensuring jobs are produced accurately, efficiently and to the required quality standard
n
Reviewing job specifications, artwork,



materials and production requirements before work commences
n
Coordinating closely with sales, design, suppliers, installers and external contractors
n
Identifying production risks early and communicating practical solutions clearly and promptly
n
Managing stock, materials, purchasing and supplier relationships
n
Monitoring workflow, labour, wastage and production costs to support profitable outcomes
n
Maintaining equipment, workplace safety and housekeeping standards
n
Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes, quality and delivery performance
n
Creating a positive, energetic and accountable production culture
n
About you
n
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded production leader with:
n
Proven experience in a Production Manager, Production Supervisor or similar role within signage, print, POS, display or a related industry
n
Strong knowledge of print and signage production processes, materials, finishing and installation requirements
n
Demonstrated experience managing multiple jobs, competing deadlines and a busy production schedule
n
A practical, hands‐on leadership style with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership
n
The ability to lead by example, follow through on commitments and hold others accountable
n
Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
Sound commercial awareness, including labour, materials, margins and production efficiency
n
Experience working with production systems, job‐tracking software or ERP platforms
n
A calm, organised approach and the energy to keep a busy operation moving forward
n
The salary will be commensurate with experience.
