Job Description
Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently looking for an experienced Electromechanical Tooling Technician to join our client's team in Dubbo.
n
This is a full-time position for someone with a strong mechanical background and experience working with electrical and hydraulic equipment.
n
You will be responsible for keeping tools and equipment in good working condition, carrying out repairs and inspections, and making sure everything is safe and ready to use.
n
About the Role
n
Your day-to-day duties will include:
n
n
Inspecting, repairing and maintaining tools and equipment.
n
Fault finding across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
n
Carrying out testing, safety checks and basic calibration.
n
Reading drawings and checking parts and components.
n
Checking bearings, sensors, wiring and hydraulic components.
n
Preparing and organising tools and equipment for use or dispatch.
n
Keeping maintenance and inspection records up to date.
n
Managing tools and stock and making sure equipment can be easily tracked.Following all safety, quality and workplace procedures.
n
Working with the team to improve day-to-day workshop processes.
n

About You
n
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and enjoys hands-on technical work.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Tooling Technician, Toolmaker, Electrician or similar.
n
Good mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
n
Experience with electrical and/or hydraulic equipment.
n
Ability to read basic technical drawings.
n
Good attention to detail.
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
n
Good communication and record-keeping skills.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
n
Licence / Qualification
n
You will need to hold an unrestricted electrical licence or a relevant unrestricted trade
licence/qualification,
along with suitable electromechanical experience.
n
