Provide executive leadership across the Australian platform
n
Contribute to APAC-wide strategic planning and decision-making
n
Drive collaboration with global Country Managers to ensure consistency and scalability
n
Lead and execute change management and transformation initiatives
n
Own recruitment for the Australian business within agreed P&L; parameters
n
Own and manage the full P&L; for the Australian business
n
Partner with Finance on financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
n
Support and drive revenue growth through Business Development initiatives
n
Identify and capitalise on new market and product opportunities
n
Ensure efficient, scalable operations across Middle Office, DCM, and Client Services
n
Oversee the execution and closing of new transactions within agreed timelines
n
Maintain exceptional standards of client servicing, reporting, and payment accuracy
n
Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation, and operational efficiency
n
Participate in regular Business Review meetings and monitor KRIs
n
Serve on key internal committees (Client Acceptance, Business Acceptance, Product Approval)
n
Ensure adherence to risk frameworks, compliance obligations, and operating procedures
n
Develop and maintain solid relationships with clients, lenders, borrowers, law firms, and intermediaries
n
Represent GLAS at industry forums and market events across Australia and APAC
n
Act as a senior ambassador for the business in the local market
n
Lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams across functions
n
Ensure appropriate resourcing and workforce planning in line with growth
n
Partner with HR on performance management, talent development, and succession planning
n
Foster an inclusive,

Requirements
n
n
Proven senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
n
Strong experience within institutional debt markets (loan agency, trustee, DCM or related)
n
Knowledge of the Australian financial markets and regulatory environment
n
Experience in P&L; management is advantageous
n
Demonstrated success in change management and business transformation
n
Solid project management and organisational capabilities
n
Familiarity with loan administration and payment systems
n
