Sign On Bonus

A Lump Sum sign-on bonus of up to $20,000* for 2nd year midwives and above moving from work in an NSW MM1 and MM2 location, or midwives moving from interstate.

Commencement is required by the 30th September ****.

If you do not meet the above criteria you may be eligible for RHWIS Incentives of up to $10,000*.

Cooma Maternity Unit experiences approximately ******* births a year, with 2 birthing rooms and 3 postnatal rooms.

There is a part time Clinical Midwifery Educator to support the team with ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

What you'll be doing
n
The Registered Midwife using best practice evidence provides women-centered maternity care in collaboration with individual-s and the multidisciplinary health care team.
n
Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people focused quality care.
n
Qualifications - External Selection Criteria
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife with evidence of recent clinical experience and skills in relation to the position, and a strong commitment to maintaining professional competence.
n
Demonstrated effective professional verbal and written communication within a diverse multidisciplinary team.
n
