Job Description
Administration & Membership Officer – Full Time
n
CMASA is seeking a highly organised, reliable and professional Administration & Membership Officer to join the team on a full-time basis. This is a varied role suited to someone with strong administrative and communication skills who is confident working in both English and Chinese. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration of the Association, communicate with members and external stakeholders, assist with events and meetings, and help ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Manage the day-to-day administration of the Association.
n
Respond to enquiries from members, committee members, external organisations and the general public.
n
Prepare correspondence, notices, meeting papers, reports and other documents in both English and Chinese.
n
Maintain membership records, databases, filing systems and other administrative records.
n
Assist with membership applications, renewals and general member services.
n
Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparation of agendas and supporting documents, and taking meeting minutes when required.
n
Assist with the organisation and coordination of seminars, functions, conferences and other Association events.
n
Manage emails, telephone enquiries and general office correspondence in a qualified and timely manner.
n
Assist with website, newsletter,
social media and member communications where required.
n
Liaise with committee members, members, suppliers, government bodies, professional organisations and other stakeholders.

About you
n
n
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese, with a high level of proficiency in reading and writing both languages.
n
Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
n
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional emails, letters, notices and other documents.
n
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
n
Professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills.
n
A responsible, dependable and proactive approach to work.
n
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with committee members and other stakeholders.
n
Appropriate working rights in Australia.
n
