General Practitioner's - Women and Children's Health (Part-Time)

General Practitioner (Vocationally Registered) position at Elara Women and Children's Clinic, a boutique, female-led clinic in Sawtell, NSW. The role offers flexible part-time sessions, Monday–Friday, within clinic hours of 8:45am–3:30pm with nurse support. As a contractor, you set your own billing arrangement and scope of practice.

Key responsibilities
n

Provide women's and children's health care in a primary care setting
n
Conduct consultations in a predominantly private billing model
n
Participate in shared consulting room arrangements across the week
n
Deliver continuity of care for patients
n
Collaborate with nursing staff on immunisations, procedures and care plans
n
Opportunity to deliver LARC procedures (IUD and Implanon insertion) with on-site training available
n
Shape your scope of practice in areas such as contraception,
perimenopause/menopause,
antenatal/postnatal
care, paediatrics, skin, mental health and chronic disease
n

About you
n
n
Vocational Registration (FRACGP or equivalent)
n
AHPRA registration and appropriate indemnity insurance
n
A kind, cooperative GP with a specialist interest or additional qualifications in women's and/or children's health
n
Experience or additional qualifications in areas such as contraception,
perimenopause/menopause,
antenatal/postnatal
care, LARC, paediatrics, and/or procedural GP work
n
Someone who enjoys working in a family-friendly, supportive setting
